15,000㎡ Cleanedin 4 Days – Wisson P3 Robot Tackles Cleaning Challengesat WISCO Cloud Valley Sci-Tech Innovation Park

2026-03-23

Recently, a Wisson Faronheat® ecosystempartner successfully deployed the Orion AP3-S1 Pliabot® Aerial TetheredCleaning System to carry out a comprehensive and deep cleaning of the exteriorfacades of the core buildings at WISCO Cloud Valley Sci-Tech Innovation Park.In just 4 days, the team efficiently completed the cleaning of 15,000 squaremeters, thoroughly resolving the long-standing challenge of high-altitudecleaning that had plagued the park.

WISCO Cloud Valley Sci-Tech Innovation Parkstands as a benchmark project in Wuhan's transformation from an"industrial rustbelt" to a "technology and innovationshowcase." The park retains the robust character of its industrial architecture, with facades featuring extensive protruding aluminum panel decorations thatcreate striking three-dimensional lines and light-shadow effects. However, itis precisely these design-focused aluminum panel structures that posesignificant challenges for routine maintenance.

According to the park's property managementdirector, exterior facade cleaning previously relied heavily on"spiderman" high-altitude operations, which presented three majorpain points: first, numerous structural blind spots –the gaps between protruding aluminum panels and the junctions between panelsand walls created many narrow angles that were difficult for manually operatedropes to reach, resulting in incomplete cleaning; second, high safety risks – spidermen working at height faced significant danger and operationswere heavily impacted by weather conditions; third, extremely low efficiency – completing a single comprehensive cleaning often took months, requiring frequent area closures that negatively impacted the park's image andthe office experience of resident companies. Stains from the long-termindustrial environment, including water marks from rainwater runoff and oilfilms from atmospheric pollutants, had left the building facades lookingmottled and inconsistent with the park's modern positioning.

To address the specific challenge posed by"protruding aluminum panels + structural blind spots," the deliveryteam conducted a joint survey and developed a specialized cleaning plan. Thecore component was the AP3-P3 Aerial Cleaning Robot, used in conjunction withWisson's proprietary environmentally friendly cleaning agents for precisioncleaning. The advantages were significant:

**Pliable, Flexible, and Unhindered byBlind Spots:** Faced with the matrix of protruding aluminum panels and narrowstructural gaps, the P3 robot, leveraging the multi-angle adjustability of itsPliabot® joints, could easily reach crevices inaccessible to manual labor, achieving precise cleaning from multiple angles. Its adaptive balance andcollision absorption capabilities flexibly mitigated unexpected impacts, ensuring a high degree of safety even within the complex structuralenvironment.

**Eco-Friendly Cleaning, Safe andPowerful:** To tackle stubborn stains like oil films and water marks, the teamemployed Wisson's proprietary AP-P series specialized cleaning agents. Theseagents effectively removed contaminants while being formulated to beenvironmentally friendly, protecting the glass surfaces from damage.

**Efficient Operation, 15,000 sqmTransformed in 4 Days:** Compared to manual spidermen, the P3 robot enabledmulti-machine coordination and continuous operation. Leveraging the robots'agility, the delivery team efficiently progressed daily, completing the deepcleaning of the 15,000 sqm facades in just 4 working days. This was achievedwithout the need for scaffolding or road closures, and without disrupting thepark's normal operations throughout the process.

Following the eco-friendly cleaningoperation, the exterior facades of WISCO Cloud Valley Sci-Tech Innovation Parkwere completely revitalized. Accumulated water marks and oil films werethoroughly eliminated, and the project successfully passed the finalinspection.
