During the Spring Festival in Nanchang,both banks of the Ganjiang River were brilliantly lit. On the eve of thespectacular fireworks display on the first day of the Lunar New Year, a special"aerial robotic operation" was quietly completed at the Crowne PlazaNanchang City Center.

As a high-end brand under the UK’s InterContinental Hotels Group, the Crowne Plaza Nanchang CityCenter is located on the east bank of the Ganjiang River, offering an idealvantage point for viewing the stunning light and fireworks shows along theriver. Before the 2026 Chinese New Year, to ensure that guests traveling duringthe holiday could enjoy the panoramic view of the fireworks and light shows onthe evening of the first day of the new year, the hotel management teamspecially partnered with Wisson Faronheat® and its ecosystem partners. Theyutilized the Orion AP3-S1 Aerial Pliabot® Tethered Cleaning System to conduct acomprehensive deep cleaning of the hotel's exterior glass curtain walls.

Hotel staff noted that the experience ofstaying in a river-view room largely depends on the cleanliness of the glass.Traditional manual cleaning methods not only pose safety risks associated withhigh-altitude work but also struggle to guarantee efficiency and effectivenessunder the tight schedule leading up to the Spring Festival. Previously, WissonFaronheat® robotic aerial cleaning solutions have successfully servicedrenowned high-end landmarks such as the Hilton Shenzhen Shekou and the NovotelSuites Paris (AccorGroup), accumulating mature technical expertise andextensive service experience in demanding, high-standard application scenarios,which highly aligns with the needs of the Crowne Plaza Nanchang City Center.

Through preliminary site surveys, theon-site delivery team found that due to the hotel’slocation along the Ganjiang River, the stains on the glass curtain wallincluded not only ordinary dust but also scale and mildew caused by humid air.To address this, the team used their self-developed AP-P series specializedglass curtain wall cleaner—which not only effectivelyremoved stubborn stains, efficiently and qualitatively refreshed the glass, butalso protected the glass and the vegetation near the hotel.
